THE STARS for May 2023 Horoscope
If you’re feeling like everything in your world is shifting right now, you’re not alone. This month is huge for rearranging the cornerstones of our lives. There will be endings and new beginnings. Whether it’s work, where you live, shifting dynamics in relationships, your health or your sense of purpose and direction, change is the constant.
We start the month between 2 eclipses, at the mid-point of Mercury retrograde in Taurus plus Pluto stationing retrograde. All of this brings up the chaos of disruption, review and reorganisation. Whether change is being forced upon you or it is chosen is irrelevant. What’s important to understand is that the shifts are supporting you to see things more clearly and align with your purpose. That way you’ll be able to experience deeper meaning in what you do.
Midway through the month on May 15 Mercury completes his retrograde and on May 17 Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion moves into the sign of Taurus for the first time since 2012. This will emphasise the importance of valuing our resources, valuing ourselves and appreciating nature and the bounty of restorative properties she offers us. Quality versus quantity will be important as will having long-term goals you’re prepared to commit to by applying patience and practicality. New ideas and opportunities await.
Then on May 21st the Sun moves into Gemini and Mars moves into Leo which will amp up energy levels with more fire and air swirling around helping us spread ideas. But be aware, Mars and Pluto, the planets of war and destruction are at odds so it’s important to focus on what you want to create versus getting caught up in other people’s storylines. NB – do take extra care of cyber based scams this month.
Wishing you an amazing month bringing your hopes and dreams to life.

Welcome to May 2023 Aries.
Growth, growth and more growth has been the major order of the day for you since December 2022. As we know, growth is not always easy, in fact the most powerful growth comes through adversity. In recent months you’ve had your fair share of challenges forcing you to realise its time for you to venture off into new horizons. And with the rarely occurring two new moons taking place in your sign in both March and April, plenty of new beginnings now await. So yes, it’s time to embrace your inner independent warrior and start anew!
This month Jupiter leaves his year long (on and off) journey through your sign and enters your wealth sector. Jupiter will reside in this part of your chart for the remainder of 2023 garnering your inner knowing and self-worth. At times like this, you are more confident in laying long-term financial goals that you trust you can make happen. So be sure to set time aside to get clear on what you want to create in that area of life. The first half of May Mercury is also retrograding in this part of your chart which is the ideal time to revise, rethink and redo your finances. Best to action any money plans from May 15 onwards when Mercury retrograde ends.
From April 8, Venus will activate your home life inviting you to invest time and energy into strengthening family bonds and beautifying your home surroundings. While Venus moves through the sign of Cancer (until June 5) take snippets of extra time to rest at home and nourish yourself with nutrient rich foods and some lovely healing treatments. Your nervous system will thank you.
Towards the end of the month Mars moves into your “fun” sector. Notice your desire to get out and get creative either on your own making things or with like-minded creative friends. You may even consider taking up a new sport at this time for the pleasure of competition and moving your body!
